PARK SHELTERS & FACILITIES A variety of facilities located within the city’s parks and trail system are available for use by the public. For exclusive use of a facility for a given date and time, a shelter reservation is required and can be made by contacting the Parks and Recreation Department at least seven days in advance of the proposed date(s) of usage. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Rental fees and deposit must be paid with the submission of the reservation form.

HUBER PARK | 150 FILLMORE ST. N. LOG CABIN RENTALS | 1099 ADAMS ST. S. Located in Lions Park, the Log Cabin Building is comfortable and quiet, suitable for all types of get-togethers. It features a kitchenette area, tables, chairs, and restrooms. RENTALS The Log Cabin is available for groups and private rentals, daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Requests for reservations through Aug. 31 are now being. Reservation forms are

Shakopee offers two types of picnic shelters to suit your needs. Our open air shelters are spacious and ideal for large gatherings such as family reunions or graduation parties. For a more intimate setting, our enclosed shelters provide protection from the weather, offering a cozy indoor area with the added convenience of a garage door that opens to additional outdoor seating. All picnic shelters are available March 1 through November 30, however bathroom facilities may not be available at open air shelters before May 1 or after October 10.
