COMMUNITY CENTER/ICE ARENA SHAKOPEE COMMUNITY CENTER The Shakopee Community Center offers fitness equipment, gyms, walking track, an indoor aquatic center, indoor playground, fitness classes and meeting space. Our two gyms feature courts for basketball, pickleball and volleyball. Most time is dedicated to open gym. » Indoor Track The three-lane walking/jogging track is free to use and available to the community year-round. » Cardiovascular & Strength Area The fitness center features a variety of cardio equipment, weight machines and free weights. Participants must be 15 years of age to use the fitness center alone. However, ages 12-14 can exercise with an adult and 12-13 years old must do an orientation. » Indoor Aquatic Center The 22,300-square-foot aquatic center includes a zero- depth entry pool with play features and water slide, four-lane lap pool, whirlpool and sauna. SHAKOPEE ICE ARENA The Shakopee Ice Arena is open year-round for practices, games, recreational skating, lessons, camps and tournaments by local and surrounding community organizations. It includes two sheets of ice, locker rooms, pro shop and bleacher seating. PRIVATE ICE RENTAL The Shakopee Ice Arena sells time to teams, clubs, camps and private groups at any time in the year. ROOM RENTALS The Shakopee Community Center offers places to gather for every occasion from small group meetings to larger events. Groups or individuals interested in reserving or renting facilities may do so by calling 952-233-9505. Rental fees are due at the time the reservation is made.
