Description Community outreach and redesign of this park, which is an older park in a changing neighborhood. The current ice skating rink is no longer being used because of safety issues. The existing playground equipment is currently being replaced and an extensive outreach effort created a new master plan that includes a major playground, bank shot for small children and four pickleball courts and additional trails through the park. The new sport court will be installed in the northern end of the park. Justification Neighborhood park that needs to be updated and will now be a community park. The park is off the Vierling Greenway and serves more than 800 adjacent households. Total Project Cost: $1,235,000
