Description of Services:
The City originally purchased and provided refuse and recycling carts to Shakopee residents. In 2021, the City solicited proposals for organized collection for the upcoming five year period and City Council approved a change in hauler from Republic Services to Dick’s Sanitation beginning January 2022. The new hauler purchased all remaining carts from the City and the cart ownership is the responsibility of the hauler.
