The City’s investment in capital assets for its governmental and business type activities as of December 31, 2019, amounts to $258,580,908 (net of accumulated depreciation). Major capital assets events during the current year included the following:

Reconstruction of streets, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and watermains on Shakopee Avenue, Dakota Street, Minnesota Street and Wood Duck Trail. 12th Avenue street and trail construction. Developer contributed assets of streets, sanitary sewer and storm sewer at Windermere South 2nd, Shenandoah Drive and Ridge Creek Third Addition Lion’s Park bathroom remodel and splash pad.

 

Vehicle replacements in police, fire, streets and parks. Planning started on Ridge Creek Park
